Don’t let the name fool you, Frenzie is far from what you might expect.
Although the name derives from “Tom Menzie and Friends”, each member
is considered a front man in their own right, and an integral part of their
sound. The trio, based out of southern Maine, has decades of gigging
experience between them. They love to play music and it shows. Frenzie
gravitates around funk, soul, and rock n’ roll but can also dip into other
genres like reggae, blues, and more progressive rock. During a set, you
may encounter things like 3-part vocal harmonies, seamless transitions and
mashups, interesting time signatures, and spontaneous moments made
evident by the guitar player's facial reactions. Frenzie currently has 3
singles and a 4-song EP available on all streaming services, as well as a
handful of newer originals that can be heard live. Their next goal is to
release a full-length album!
