One-ton truck

The Town of Belgrade is seeking bids for a one-ton truck with a dump body, a work package, strobes and a 9.6 plow. Bids should be emailed to Town Manager Anthony Wilson at townmanager@townofbelgrade.com no later than 5 p.m. Monday, June 21. Snowplowing, sanding & ice control

The Town of Belgrade is seeking bid prices to supply services for winter road maintenance, i.e., snowplowing, sanding and other ice control measures on roads. The three-year contract begins on October 15, 2021, and ends May 15, 2024. The request for proposals (RFP) is posted to the left. 


Recreation custodian

The Town of Belgrade is seeking a custodian to work 25 hours per week for its Parks & Recreation Department. 

The custodian will be responsible for cleaning the Center for All Seasons, including its grounds, the North Belgrade Community Center and the Town Office. Typically, the position involves working five hours per day Mondays through Fridays,

Summer camp counselors

The Town of Belgrade has openings for full-time and part-time summer camp counselors. Full-time counselors work 8 hours a day, Mondays-Fridays. Part-time counselors work two 8-hour days, with the opportunity for fill-in days.

Counselors are responsible for assisting with Camp Golden Pond program activities as well as guiding/helping children adjust and grow within program guidelines. Counselors comply with and participate fully in the instruction of swimming, boating, arts and crafts, games, various camp activities and education programs.

Applicants must be at least 15 years of age with some experience significant to working with children. Applicant must have excellent communication skills along with skills necessary to working with groups of children made up of different ages and abilities. Emotional and mental maturity are mandatory, along with skills in problem-solving.

Certification in CPR and First-Aid, or a willingness to be trained, are required. Candidates must pass a background check.

Seasonal employees

The Town of Belgrade is seeking seasonal employees to work up to 32 hours per week in the Transfer Station’s Recycling Center and/or in the cemeteries and facilities maintenance.

Applicants for the cemeteries and facilities maintenance position must be able to operate riding lawnmowers and weed-whackers, and assist in minor building repairs. A job description for the Transfer Station attendant’s job is included to the left, as is an employment application.
