AUG 17 ~ THE MANIACS
Bath native and bassist, Jackson Gay, has spent years inviting Maine musicians to be part of his
band, The Maniacs. It’s history of being a “pick-up” band, combining original members with other
community musicians, to “do the gig” was always an adventure and never disappointing.
Sometimes Jack wasn’t even on the gig, like when he was touring with Don Campbell and other
endeavors. But like he says “once a Maniac, always a Maniac!” Over his entire career, Jack
has been behind countless combinations of Maine musicians, coordinating and creating
memorable experiences for listeners and musicians alike. This particular incarnation of The
Maniacs has a resume of extraordinary careers, with years of entertaining experience.
Performing with Jack are Tedd Hamilton on guitar, Ronnie Miller on pedal steel, Ronnie Bouffard
on drums and vocalist musician Deb Morin.
