The annual Father-Daughter Dance, scheduled for March 28 at the Center for All Seasons, will be postponed to a later date to be determined.
Given the current public health threat, Town officials agreed that hosting the dance at this time would be imprudent. The event typically draws about 300 people, exceeding the governor's recommendation to avoid indoor gatherings of 250 people or more. Money will be refunded to everyone who purchased tickets in advance.
We look forward to hosting the Father-Daughter Dance, one of the Town's most popular, later this year when it will be safe for all involved and for the community.
