Selectboard meeting
The Board of Selectpersons will consider a recommendation from the Transfer Station & Recycling Center Committee regarding the operation of the returnable bottle boxes during and after the pandemic when it meets at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19. The meeting will be conducted via Zoom at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/81131427984. All Town board and committee meetings are open to the public. The agenda and background packet are posted below.
The five-member elected Board of Selectpersons meets at 6:30 p.m. on the first and third Tuesdays of the month. Meetings are currently being conducted virtually.
The Selectboard serves as Belgrade’s governing body on matters that are not statutorily required to be approved by the voters. The Board’s duties include recommending a budget and most ordinances for voter consideration, approving expenditures and Town policies, appointing members to Town boards and committees, and hiring and evaluating the Town Manager, who oversees the Town's day-to-day operation on the Board's behalf.
