The Transfer Station hosts one of its two annual drug takeback events from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, April 30, at the Transfer Station, located at the intersection of the Dunn and Transfer Station roads. A Kennebec County sheriff's deputy will be on hand to collect expired and/or unwanted pharmaceuticals. This service is offered free of charge to residents and non-residents.
The next drug takeback event will be in October.
