The Transfer Station hosts its annual Drug Takeback event from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, at the Transfer Station, located at the intersection of the Dunn and Transfer Station roads. A Kennebec County sheriff's deputy will be on hand to collect expired and/or unwanted pharmaceuticals. This service is offered free of charge.
