Cemetery Committee meeting

The Cemetery Committee will continue discussing possible changes to the Town's cemetery ordinance when it meets at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 18. The meeting will begin at Pine Grove Cemetery, where the committee will discuss the back road to Plan 5, the most recent expansion of the cemetery. Afterward, the committee will adjourn at the Town Office, 990 Augusta Road, for the remainder of its agenda, which is posted below. All Town board and committee meetings are open to the public.
The Cemetery Committee advises the Board of Selectpersons on matters related to the Town's cemeteries. The five-member committee, which meets monthly, also provides input to the Town's sexton, the employee responsible for the care and maintenance of the cemeteries.
