Selectboard meeting

The five-member elected Board of Selectpersons will meet in executive session during a specially called meeting at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, to discuss a personnel matter. Executive sessions are closed to the public. Any votes after the executive session would be conducted in open session, which the public may attend. The agenda is posted below. 

The Selectboard serves as Belgrade’s governing body on matters that are not statutorily required to be approved by the voters. The Board’s duties include recommending a budget and most ordinances for voter consideration, approving expenditures and Town policies, appointing members to Town boards and committees, and hiring and evaluating the Town Manager, who oversees the Town's day-to-day operation on the Board's behalf.
