Depot Road closed to through traffic Aug. 4; property taxes due Sept. 3

Culvert replacements to close Depot Road

On Wednesday, Aug. 4, Road Commissioner Jason Stevens will replace two culverts on Depot Road, making the road impassable to through traffic for one day. Construction is scheduled to begin about 7 a.m. One of the culverts is in front of Belgrade Central School; the other is near the northern end of Depot Road near Route 27. Drivers are advised to take alternate routes until the road reopens to traffic late Wednesday.

Mr. Stevens is performing this work in anticipation of Depot Road’s inclusion in the Town’s 2022 paving project. Voters will consider approving that work at Town Meeting in March.

We apologize in advance for the inconvenience. If you have questions, please contact Town Manager Anthony Wilson at 207-495-2258 or townmanager@townofbelgrade.com.
