Selectboard meeting

The elected Board of Selectpersons will consider awarding a contract to provide winter road sand, mix it with salt, and store it in the Town's sand/salt shed when it meets at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15. The meeting will begin with a public hearing on a proposed moratorium ordinance Belgrade voters will consider in the Nov. 3 general election. The moratorium would preclude permit applications for commercial solar and wind farms, cell towers and subdivisions for 180 days. That will give the Planning Board time to address inadequacies in the commercial development review and subdivision ordinances.

The Selectboard meets at 6:30 p.m. on the first and third Tuesdays of the month. All of the Board's meetings are open to the public.
