Public hearing on moratorium ordinance

The Board of Selectpersons will host a public hearing at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, as required by Maine State Statute, M.R.S.A. 30-A, 2523.
The hearing will be conducted on Zoom at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/963032016.
The purpose of the hearing is for public comment on the following secret ballot referendum question, which will be voted on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2020.
"To proceed with voting, by secret ballot, on the following question: Shall the Town of Belgrade enact a 180-day moratorium on permit applications for solar and wind farms, cell towers, and subdivisions?"
Attached to this notice is the proposed moratorium ordinance.
