Fire stations

The Belgrade Fire & Rescue Department has three stations:

  • The Robert “Bobby” Wadleigh Station, located in Belgrade Depot at 214 Depot Road, houses Engine 63 and Tanker 65, plus Rescue 6 if the Rescue Chief or a per-diem firefighter is not on duty.
  • The William “Bill” Pulsifer Fire Station, located at 1 Augusta Road in the Belgrade Lakes village, houses Engine 61, an all-terrain side-by-side vehicle used for fire and rescue operations, a fire-rescue boat and Forestry Unit 66. When staffed, the Pulsifer Fire Station often houses Rescue 6.
  • North Belgrade Fire Station, 449 Smithfield Road, houses Engine 62 and Tanker 64.

The Town of Belgrade has no pressurized water hydrants. All water is pumped from a lake or stream and shuttled to scenes using tank trucks.
