Dog Licenses

All dogs 6 months or older and living in Belgrade at least 10 days must be registered.

From mid-October through January, the cost is $6 per dog licensing a pet that has been neutered or spayed. Licenses for unaltered dogs are $11. After January, a $25 late fee is charged in addition to the cost of the license.

Bring your proof of current rabies vaccination, as well as proof of spay/neuter if registering your dog in Belgrade for the first time. If you recently moved to Belgrade from another Maine town where your dog was registered, we will transfer your registration for $1 at the Town Office.
