Communications Committee meeting

The Communications Committee will discuss the fall newsletter and a candidates forum for the special Selectboard election Nov. 2 when it meets at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8, at the Town Office, 990 Augusta Road. The agenda is posted below. All Town board and committee meetings are open to the public.
The primary role of the Communications Committee is the production of the Belgrade Bulletin, the Town newsletter, which is published three times a year. An additional newsletter is published on years when there is a general election in November. The committee works with the town manager and town officials to generate a list of articles, and helps with the writing and publication of the newsletter.
The committee also advocates for best practices to ensure that citizens have access to news about the Town's government and activities.
