Budget Committee

The Budget Committee assists the Town Manager, the Town Treasurer and the Board of Selectpersons in the annual crafting of a proposed Town budget for the voters' consideration at Town Meeting. Committee members' recommendations on each warrant article that involves the expenditure of Town funds is also presented to voters in the annual report and at Town Meeting.

The committee meets in the late fall and early winter an indeterminate number of times until a proposed budget is agreed upon by the Selectboard.

The committee also advises the Board and Town officials on related financial matters.
